Places we have been in the past....
We are back in Parbold this weekend, open from 10 -1 on Saturday the 20th and 10-4 on Sunday the 21st
Once again we plan to be back outside the Farmers Arms for the Knit and Natter on Thursday afternoon the 9th open 1-3ish.
This weekend we have entered into the spirit of the 1st Burscough Scarecrow festival and Col has made a scarecrow which has one of his old stripy jumpers on. Come and see it and have a look at some great yarn on Saturday the 14.7.18 and Sunday the 15th of July. We will be open 9-4 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday somewhere in the centre of the Village near Burscough Wharf.

We've returned from our summer cruise around the 4 counties canal ring.
OPENING HOURS at the moment are normally 10-4 to be assured of us being there and not cruised off or gone to the pub :-)
This week's planned opening places and times for The Wool Boat.
We are open in Rode Heath near Alsager in Cheshire this weekend 15th and 16th of July and plan to be at Westport Lake near Stoke on Trent next weekend.
On the Wool Boat
We've yarn and wool, double
knitting 4 ply, chunky and cotton, we got colours red and blue, hues of yellows
and greens blacks whites creams, fluorescents and twinkles, yarn for socks from
Germany, lovely soft baby Llama from Peru yarn from Lazy Kate's spinning
wheel, Lancashire yarn from sheep in
Silverdale, Yarns from Brett's, Woolly
knits Designer yarns West Yorkshire spinners, needles and notions, patterns and
buttons wooden plastic big and small and toggles anor'al, we've gloves hats jumpers and cowls blankets for babies
scarves for your neck, fingerless mittens for the gardening calendars Christmas
cards, cards for all occasions French knitters and pom pom makers stitch
holders, some dish cloth cotton………….. all on a nice and cosy narrow boat.
When we moor in Parbold we normally are moored near the Windmill art Gallery and the Yours is the earth café

If you fancy a bit more of a walk around this area of Pendle, some suggestions are here on visit Pendle or for extra retail therapy we're not that far from Boundary Mill at Colne.

near the top of the locks.
Saturday and Sunday the 23rd and 24th July, Blackburn Canal Festival

Hi All a pleasant morning here at Burscough Wharf and open until 4 today.
We
are moored on the Mill Lane car park side of the canal where you are
more likley to get a parking place than on the Wharf car park, and only a
few yards until you are aboard the worlds only floating wool and yarn
shop:-).
