UP DATE 16.1.21 The ice has gone to be replaced by a soggy and muddy public footpath alongside our mooring off Crabtree Lane near Burscough so if you would like to contact and collect from us today between 1 and 3 you would be advised to put on your wellies, boots or stout shoes.

Time to stock up?
How much longer can we do contact and collect?
At the moment we can offer a contact and collect service for your yarn and wool supplies, which we will do this Friday in #Burscough and on Saturday from the public footpath alongside our mooring just off Crabtree Lane near Burscough.
We’ll be available from 1-3 on both days.
For orders please get in contact via social media or give us a ring on 07931 356204.

It looks like the ice may have melted enough for us to be able to move sometime this week.
Under the present government advice we can provide a limited service of contact and collect.
We are thus planning to be available for a couple of hours on Friday and Saturday this week.
We are not available on Wednesday as last week as we have a 14th wedding anniversary to celebrate 🙂
As we may be able to move we are not quite sure where we will be open, mooring, towpath, Burscough village?
When you do contact us to order we will be able to let you know where we are, or will contact you in the morning of Friday or Saturday to let you know.
Local deliveries are available as well.
We are calling our operations “contact and collect” as we feel this is far more flexible and efficient than “click and collect”, so different ways to contact us, website, phone 07931 356204, or e-mail.

Now Christmas has gone and hopefully the postal services will be under less pressure we are now happy to resume posting out our creations along with wool and yarn or whatever else we have in stock.
Just now added to our webshop, a lovely warm hand made dragon tooth shawl…https://thewoolboat.co.uk/product/mauve-dragon-tooth-shawl/

About us
Where and when is The Wool Boat open?
The Wool Boat is based on the canal narrow boat “Emma Maye”. During the winter we are based on the Leeds and Liverpool canal in the Burscough area of Lancashire. Over the summer we cruise the inland waterways of the country. This means
we will keep this website up dated as to where and when we plan to be open.
Christmas has gone and Carole’s order books are not as full as they where, so now is a good time for placing orders for creation on her needles. For ideas have a look in our web shop, “Are you wearing Colour by Carole?” 28.12.20

Local deliveries are available as well.
For orders please contact us via phone 07931 356204, e-mail, colinandcarolescreations@yahoo.co.uk or social media, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
