We have a good range of stocks of sock knitting yarn on board The Wool Boat. We have shades available from three producers, James C Brett, West Yorkshire Spinners, and Opal. We have also stock the needles that you need to start your sock knitting, which it seems can become quite addictive.
Our preferred way of supplying your yarn is for you to come and visit us at The Wool Boat where you can see the true colours and feel the quality of these lovely yarns. Cw 7531 WYS Signature 4 ply, 847 Sherbet Fizz and 547 Candyfloss WYS Signature 4 ply Pink Sherbet Fizz and Candyfloss yarn. West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 ply yarn that is also great for sock knitting as it contains Nylon and polyester to make it hard wearing. These two shades are Pink Flamingo shade 845 and Candyfloss shade 547 which complement each other quite well. These are 2 of the 57 shades of this yarn we have available from stock on The Wool Boat. WYS Christmas sock yarn in stock 16.9.2020. West Yorkshire spinner’s signature 4 ply, Christmas yarn 2020. West Yorkshire Spinners have added two new shades to their Signature 4 ply sock yarn for Christmas 2020 and have rereleased some of previous years ones The two new shades have a sparkle thread added to them, with one being a rework of Fairy lights and the other being a completely new shade of blues, called Silent Night. We still have a few balls of Fairy lights that hasn’t got the sparkle through it. The shades in this picture are on the top line left to right, plain Fairy Lights, shade 849, Robin, shade 941 and Holly Berry shade 886. On the bottom line again left to right are Candy Cane shade 989, Silent night shade 906 and Fairy Lights with a sparkle shade 905.
