Dragon tooth Fairground shawl for a hug A Dragon tooth shawl hand knitted aboard the narrow boat “Emma Maye” in Lancashire by Carole Wareing of Colin and Carole’s Creations blows in the breeze. This unique garment will make a great handmade hug for someone you can’t actually hug at the moment, someone in a care home or a nursing home, or Christmas or Birthday present. This garment, an adult sized shawl, knitted from a yarn available from The Wool Boat The yarn used for this shawl is an acrylic yarn from the James C Brett’s “Fairground” range, shade G10. The colours are lilac, browns, fawns and variegated purple. The stitches used to create this shawl have produced a textured and ribbed structure to the garment. The yarn is an acrylic one, very warm and snuggly and easy maintaince. The shawl is 78 inch long and 12 inch deep at its widest point and has about 68 dragon’s teeth.
