A V neck jumper hand knitted aboard the narrow boat “Emma Maye” in Lancashire by Carole Wareing of Colin and Carole’s Creations. This garment has been designed and knitted by Carole. It has been created from a shade of “Misty” from J C Brett’s (shade no R5) which is a premium acrylic yarn with a touch of viscose to make it feel nice and soft. The garment is based on a “Scarborough” gansey pattern which has a moss stitch above the yoke on the chest area, while there is a quite distinctive step stitch border between the main body and the arms. The main colour is a light blue with flecks of grey. This garment has a chest size of 36 -38 inches, a length of 27 inch and the arms are 18 inches long. This garment could be won by a lady or a chap.
Machine washable at 30 degrees C
