There are 4 main ways for us to supply your yarn, patterns, knitting and crocheting tools and accessories to you

The first way is for you to come aboard The Wool Boat, where ever we are open, or at other times by appointment.

This is really the best way then you can see the yarns in the real colours, and have a squidge.

The second if you are local to our mooring in Burscough in West Lancashire and we are moored there Capt Col can deliver to you.

We define local as within a 10 mile radius of Burscough, so we are looking from Preston down to Maghull and across to Skelmersdale and Wigan, with the only other condition that your order is worth a minimum of £10.

The 3rd way is for us to post it out to you via the Royal Mail.

For parcels up to £35 in value there is a p and p charge of £4, above £35 we can do it post free, unless it is a discounted yarn.

Since Brexit we are afraid all the paper work and customs conditions mean that we only post out to a UK address.

And the fourth way is if you are on a boat on the canal and are passing by please feel free to moor alongside and we can serve you then.

These are some of the deliveries Col has made recently.

Delivery to a customer in Standish near Wigan in October of six balls of baby yarn, 4 of “Happiness” and 2 of Magiknit all dk weight and lovely and soft.

Today’s delivery to Ormskirk. If you would like Capt Col to deliver wo and yarn within a 10 mile radius of Burscough please give us a ring on 07931 356204 or message us. This is West Yorkshire Spinners 4 ply Gingerbread yarn ideal for sock knitting
