A day late this week, busy day yesterday, sorry.
British summer time has well gone now..so we are on winter opening hours where we close at 3 as it’s getting a bit dark by then for seeing colours on the boat and walking the plank to get aboard.
Opening plans for this week for the floating Lancashire Wool shop.
The Wool Boats plans for the week the of 27th October to 2nd November 2025.
We are planning to be open outside the Slipway pub, on Crabtree Lane, near Burscough, L40 0RN on Thursday the 30th of October open from 1-3.
Thursday is Knit and natter day in the pub from 1 all welcome it’s free!
Then back in Burscough near the Wharf on Sunday the 2nd November open from 11 to 3.
And as it’s that time of year again Capt Col has got his Burscough Christmas cards on sale at £1 each.
We think as the weather wasn’t great last weekend we’ll keep the party time chunky in the barging bucket for another week.
A couple of pics from last weeks knit and natter, another good turnout, which we’ll use to promote it a bit more seeing as the pub seems to be getting a bit more organized.
