The UKHA, UK Hand knitting association, are organising a knit along for April into May 2026, to produce a blanket named “Bloom”.

The pattern will be realised over 7 weeks from the 7th of April 2026 through the UKHA website and Ravlery.

We have put together a pack of the seven shades of Top Value from James C Brett that can be used for this project. The pack contains 13 balls altogether in the required quantities of each shade. These may produce a brighter blanket than the one shown.

A total of 13 balls, is needed to produce a blanket either 140 x 140cm or 55in x 55inch, or a smaller one of 115 x 115cm or 45in x 45inch

TV 8458 “Light Grey” of which for the complete blanket you will need 2 100-gram balls
TV 8465 “Light Mist” of which for the complete blanket you will need 3 100-gram balls
TV 8441 “Bright Pink” of which for the complete blanket you will need 2 100-gram balls
TV 8459 “Buttercup” of which for the complete blanket you will need 2 100-gram balls
And on the front row,
TV 8477 “Rose Gold” of which for the complete blanket you will need 2 100-gram balls
TV 8445 “Bright Green” of which for the complete blanket you will need 1 100-gram ball
TV 8463 “Pink” of which for the complete blanket you will need 1 100-gram ball

The pack price is £26 which can be collected from The Wool Boat or we can be post it out to a UK address which may attract a p and p charge.
