Hi all, apologizes for not send one out last week, as Anette pointed out to me 😊
So, it’s back to “normal” outside The Slipway on Thursday then seeing if we can get a mooring near the wharf for Sunday. We couldn’t last weekend as all the mooring was full.

However, we came part way back and moored outside the “Canal View” estate, the new houses on the former UBH factory site. Would any one find us that far out and with such short notice?
They certainly did on the Saturday. One of our Facebook followers from Northampton who was on the way back from a family holiday in Keswick and another lady from Corby who was up to see her mum in Upholland.
A couple more customers as well. Sunday not quite as busy, just one customer who found us by accident ’cos they took a wrong turn!
They all seemed to appreciate the easy parking where we were, so we’ll give it another go mooring there in the future.
While we where open a chap came off the estate with two young people with him who love playing the video game Unravel. Hu? New one on us. It’s is character called “Yarny” is the main player who leaves a trail of yarn behind it as you solve the puzzles, or so we were told.
Anyway, could Carole produce a knitted version of “Yarny” for the kids? Not really Carole’s thing but if anyone feels like having a go for the chap, we have found a free pattern from Ravlery.

Catching up with your creations, with a crocheted cardigan from Jane made from Stonewash.

You may have notice no Saturday opening this week, the football season starts for Southport so Col is off on a trip up to Hebben.
See you Thursday
Carole and Capt Col
