The Wool Boats plans for the week the of 3rd to 9th November 2025.
3 days opening this week, Slipway and back in the village.
We are planning to be open outside the Slipway pub, on Crabtree Lane, near Burscough, L40 0RN on Thursday the 6th of November open from 1-3.
Thursday is Knit and natter day in the pub from 1 all welcome it’s free!
Then back in Burscough near the Wharf on Saturday 8th and Sunday the 9th November open from 11 to 3.
Did you watch “Game of Wool” on Sunday evening? What do you reckon? Did they actually knit for 12hrs solid? Carole wasn’t totally invested in it, and what was Tom Daly wearing? We are afraid we haven’t the room to stock mega chunky yarn, but we have some tank top patterns for dk weight yarn of which we have a good selection.
The discounted discontinued WYS signature 4 ply is disappearing quite fast with parcels going out to Liverpool and Kent, so don’t miss out!
The pictures Col took of the k and n a couple of weeks ago have produced lots of interest via our socials, “Wish we had something like that where I live” etc.
And as it’s that time of year again Capt Col has got his Burscough Christmas cards on sale at £1 each.
