  • Tequila sunrise shawl A Dragon tooth shawl hand knitted aboard the narrow boat “Emma Maye” in Lancashire by Carole Wareing of Colin and Carole’s Creations. This handcrafted garment is an adult sized shawl, one of Carole’s exclusive and unique range knitted, from a discontinued wool based yarn that was produced by West Yorkshire Spinners. The yarn used for this shawl is 75% Wool and 25% nylon and so nice and warm. The colours are oranges, reds and creams. The stitches used to create this shawl have produced a textured structure to the garment. The shawl is 62 inch long and 11 inch deep at its widest point and has about 57 dragon’s teeth. A big thank you to Carolyn for modelling the shawl. The price is £25 including free postage to a uk address, please enquire about overseas postage rates or come and pick up from The Wool Boat.

  • Sale! Yellow and beige wrap Carole has hand knitted this wrap from J C Bretts Cotton on yarn, which is a cotton and acrylic mix. Two shades have been used to create this garment, a solid yellow one and a variegated brown one to provide a nice contrast. The wrap is lovely and warm, great for keeping the wearer warm and toasty. This wrap would make a nice present for someone, for Christmas or birthday, or just to say I love you. The wrap is approximately 68 inches long and 15 inches wide.
