A pair of lovely cosy thick Royal Blue leg warmers hand knitted aboard the narrow boat “Emma Maye” in Lancashire by Carole Wareing of Colin and Carole’s Creations.

These leg warmers will make a great handmade present for someone or indeed for yourself.

They are adult sized being 10 inches long, knitted from a double strand of yarn, with a ribbed pattern and a cuff on either end.

This is yarn available from The Wool Boat in a range of colours so you could have a pair knitted from the choice of shades we have aboard.

The yarn used for this shawl is an acrylic yarn from the James C Brett’s “Top Value” range, shade 8472 “Royal Blue”
