× A lovely warm and snuggly hand knitted blanket in blue and cream shades. Blue and Cream squared blanket, designed to go over a person’s knees but could have many other many uses, such as a child’s bed blanket or a pet blanket. The blanket is easy care, being machine washable at 40C and measures 39 inches by 34 inches (64 by 64 cm) and has been created from James C Brett’s aran with wool knitting yarn. The design is 5 by 5 squares, with the patterning on the squares being based on fishermen’s gansey patterns. Carole Wareing has designed and hand knitted this blanket, this is Carole of Colin and Carole’s Creations based on a narrow boat named “Emma Maye” and also known as The Wool Boat that is based on the Leeds and Liverpool canal in Burscough in West Lancashire.
