up and down the M6 today…

Well that was a long way to go for a pizza we set off to Kettering Town FC this morning for Col to go to watch Southport Football Club in the game tonight. Got as far as Market Harborough and went in the first place we could find for dinner, the Veneto Restaurant. put Twitter on to find out the game had been called off again cos of covid! for the 2nd time. So we are now back on the narrowboat “Emma Maye” but will probably be going back to Vento when the game gets re-arranged as we had a great pizza and a calzone. note to the National League, covid tests need to be done sooner than a couple of days before then games can be called off the day before if need be.
