#WIPWednesday. This week’s one is a big un, an adult’s long line hoodie I’m knitting from a chunky yarn so I’ve had to move onto the bed aboard the our narrow boat to have enough room, my laps not big enough! Carole
An adult’s long line hoodie being knitted from J C Brett’s “Tranquil” yarn by Carole Wareing from the Wool Boat.
This one is a big one. As it has become bigger and longer it has become heavier and impractical for Carole to knit it on her lap so she has needed to move onto the bed on our narrow boat to make it possible to carry on knitting.
The yarn is wool and acrylic mix.
This garment can be reproduced as a commissioned garment, please ask for a price.
There a range of seven shades at present available from The Wool Boat but it has been discontinued by J C Bretts, so get it while you can.
Each ball is 100gram’s and priced at £3.75.
Each ball contains 150 meters or 163 yards, and it is recommended that 6mm needles are used.
The yarn is 80% Acrylic and 20% Wool.
